Insight's Employee and Family Assistance Program knows that your employees are your most valuable asset and that healthy employees contribute to a successful workplace. Since our first Assessment and Resource Counselling office opened in 1980, the cornerstones of our program have remained consistent:
- EFAP's are jointly run by the employer and the employees to provide for mutual accountability while ensuring the program meets the specific needs of your organization.
- Each Assessment and Resource Service in a non-profit society is located in the community, rather than the workplace, in order to enhance client confidentiality and anonymity.
- Counselling services address all types of personal, medical, financial and legal problems and, where practical, utilize existing services within the community to compliment our efforts.
- Extend the benefits of the program to the employees family members and retirees.
The stresses of today's world…and today's workplace…can pose serious health risks. With typical ARS utilization rates between 8 - 15%, some communities have seen escalated usage rates of up to 40% during difficult times. By focusing on proactive and preventative measures, our philosophies work towards a more integrated approach to health management and risk reduction.
